My Method - What to expect

Whether meeting in person on online, first I will ask you what the big projects are for you in your life at the moment. What excites you, what troubles you, who are you connecting with, who are you disconnecting with... everything you want to share about your altitude and attitude. 

The more we learn about the deep significance of people's childhood experiences, the more we see the influence on them in your subconsious pattening in later life. This isn't just woo and a waste of time. It's a well researched and observed cornerstone of modern psychology. For some it's not easy either because of fog or difficult memories, but in time, your origin story will filter through and will prove a powerful tool in directing the sessions and your future.

I audio record all sessions, partly for me to reference with you in future sessions, but mainly for you to take away after each session and revise what was said to gain new insights.

I have available on my site and in session a number of questionnaires that help assess patients on their personalities and pathologies which can be used to inform further work or more specialist consultation from my network of trusted professionals.

When we reach certain milestones and upon request, I will provide a functional readback of the session(s) which you can take away and use to remind yourself of the action plan and progress so far. This is no extra cost.

I always aim to give you techniques and reading material to take away - perhaps even homework! Just as until I am qualified in specific areas of psychiatry I'm not able to provide recognised diagnoses, I'm not able to provide hypnotherapy or EMDR, but I have an strong network of so-trained colleagues who can.
